چکیده
Acrania is a rare foetal anomaly in which the calvaria absent, and meninges come into direct contact with amniotic fluid. most common acrania – exencephaly anencephaly spectrum, anincidence of 3.68 to 5.4 per 10,000 live births. We present case primigravida who presented for an ultrasound on account vaginal bleeding early cyesis. Idiopathic Recurrent Polyhydramnios: A Rare Case Report
Polyhydramnios occurs in 1-2% of pregnancies and may be idiopathic in more than half of the cases. The diagnosis of idiopathic polyhydramnios can be made only in the absence of maternal diabetes, fetal anomalies, aneuploidies, multiple gestation, Rh incompatibility, placental tumours and non-immune hydrops. Rarely, idiopathic polyhydramnios may be recurrent in future pregnancies and sometimes n...
متن کاملRecurrent Non Immune Hydrops Fetalis with Polyhydramnios: a Case Report
Recurrent non-immune fetal hydrops (NIH) has been reported in the literature but it’s a very rare entity. It has been postulated to be related to a recessive gene. We report a case of recurrent non immune fetal hydrops in a multigravida with no medical history of note. She presented in her current pregnancy with a significant history of having 2(out of 3) previous pregnancies affected by hydrop...
متن کاملOutcomes From Polyhydramnios With Normal Ultrasound.
OBJECTIVE To investigate the short- and long-term outcomes of children from pregnancies complicated with polyhydramnios, defined as amniotic fluid index (AFI) >24 cm, and with a normal detailed ultrasound examination. METHODS This retrospective cohort study examined 134 children aged 4 to 9 years with polyhydramnios and normal detailed ultrasound examination during pregnancy compared with 268...
متن کاملPerinatal Outcomes of Idiopathic Polyhydramnios with Normal Ultrasound: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Background: Incidence of polyhydramnios in various studies has been reported from 0.2 to 3.9%. Approximately, 50-60% of cases are idiopathic with no known etiology. We aimed to investigate perinatal outcomes of idiopathic polyhydramnios with a normal ultrasound. Materials and Methods: In this study, Persian and English databases including Barakatkns, SID, Magiran, Medline, Science Direct, Scopu...
